Exit the current mongo shell and rerun command.

Your prompt is marimemad@debian: $ and then you type mongo --nodb. In cas you did not realize, you are starting the mongo shell. Your prompt change to > , indicating that you are in the mongo shell. You have to exit this shell and enter the other mongo command at your debian prompt.
