I am starting to play around with changestreams. I think its a great feature, especially the fact that you can manipulate the events in real time with the powerful aggregation pipeline. You guys should add changestream support on MongoDB Compass!! On each collection, right next to the aggregation tab, just add a tab for changestream! And similar to the aggregation tab, where u can see all the previews for each aggregation step, users should be able to do same with changestreams. I think on the changestreams tab in compass, u would proabably want to provide a way to test with old data possibly with resume token, if possible timestamps, or from the very beginning of the oplog that still exists.
