I’m not sure where to submit bugs so I’m trying here :-/
The new version of Compass v1.31.0 has a massive bug: when editing a document in the formatted view (the one that’s not JSON or table view), editing a Date type member and hitting Update converts the member type to String!!! You then have to edit the member again and convert the type back to Date. It’s caused a lot of problems over here…

Hey Adam! Thank you for spotting the issue in the new Compass release.
You can report bugs in Compass project in our public JIRA. For this one I could reproduce and confirm that the issue exists and created a bug ticket so you can track the progress for when the issue will be fixed, we will get at it right away
