Client Side Field Level Encryption and change streams

After enabling CSFLE in our product, the existing logic for Change Streams (e.g. collection.watch().fullDocument(DEFAULT).iterator()) started failing complaining Aggregation stage $_internalChangeStreamOplogMatch is not allowed or supported with automatic encryption.

Is this a known limitation? Any workaround?

I am also stuck in this. Any workaround yet?
