Hi all, I am planning to take the associate certificate for nodejs. If I understand correctly, I cannot refer to the docs and atlas while taking the exam. Am I correct for both or one or the other is allowed?

You are correct. One cannot refer to any documentation, change their tab or use Atlas during the exam session. You can read more on the rules from the Certification Program Guide and exam Study Guide.
