There was already a thread touching the second of your questions.
However reading the pages, and that what you quoted, leaves the answer open when it will be ended. I’d assume that no one really knows when the COVID-19 pandemic will be ended. There will be an official statement on this from the WHO, as they say this will surely not in the close future. On the other hand the local recovery processes will be very different and at very different paces all around the world.
I’d take the chance given, take the learning path and go for the certification. This will not take too much time.
@Lieke_Boon, may I address this to you? So that this will not end in assumptions.
