Can't toggle authentication OFF

I used to have anonymous authentication ON when I started my project but now I can’t seem to be able to turn it OFF. Every time I toggle it off, it is back on the next time I log on. Am I doing something wrong?

Note: I have Realm Sync dev mode turned on.

Yes, the Development Mode implies that Anonymous Authentication is activated
