The Billy Zane example in the video contains a nested document - which is shown in the documents section. In the current state of the movies database all the cast members are just simple Strings.

Yes, it just demonstrates that you can do that and you won’t get any errors from MongoDB or said in another way, MongoDB accepts this kind of setup.
Working with this kind of setup is another matter altogether. And it’s not yet covered in this chapter, I think.
