I can suggest you to access the support page get all material that you have and send it as a ticket for a mongoDB to they investigate internally. They will delay answering your question but if it is really a bug, they will put it as an issue to be solved on the engine.
I have a case that occurs it. I’ve created a ticket on September 14 e the bug was reported on September 29 but still there as you can see on the ticket.
I don’t know why MongoDB Atlas doesn’t allow us to roll back the version of Mongo Server, so in this case, this can be the approach to solve your problem.
