I am pleased to announce that as of today, Atlas Search is now GA! Atlas Search allows you to configure search indexes directly on clusters you have running in MongoDB Atlas and write queries using the MongoDB query language.
Here are some of the recent updates we made:
- Renamed the aggregation stage from $searchBeta to $search
- Added autocomplete functionality
- Added geoJSON, boolean and objectID as supported data types
- Added support for all cluster tiers in Atlas, including the M0 free tier
