Managing terabytes of weather data is an exercise in scaling. In this talk, we'll discuss sharding and hardware considerations and will review the factors that drive the capacity requirements: volume of queries, access patterns, indexing, among others. Attendees will gain additional insight as we come up with the ideal cluster layout and hardware.
