MongoDB ACID Transactions: Getting Started

PublishedOctober 9, 2019

Multi-document ACID transactions debuted in MongoDB 4.0, and were extended in the 4.2 release with support for ACID guarantees distributed across sharded clusters.

In the first of our two part webinar series, we cover how to get started with transactions, covering:

  • Why transactions, design goals, and use cases
  • Transactions sessions and syntax
  • Code samples

By the end of this session, you’ll be able to identify workloads where multi-document transactions are useful, and how to start building apps with them.

Target audience: Developers and DBAs

Speakers: Aly Cabral and Mat Keep
