With less than a week to go, MongoSV is right around the corner. The largest MongoDB conference of 2012 will feature over 50 sessions by 10gen engineers and MongoDB users you'll have a lot to choose from at the event. Here are some tips to help you get preparedâ€â€ùand excitedâ€â€ùfor the event on December 4th.
5. Tweet About your Attendance (and Win MongoDB Swag)

You'll be automatically entered to win some great MongoDB swag. We'll randomly choose three lucky winners the week following the event. You've got nothing to lose! Also please share your attendance with your friends on Facebook and your connections on Linkedin know, too. Last, but certainly not least, don't forget to check in on Foursquare when you arrive at the venue!
4. Stop by the ...Ask the Experts“ Room
MongoDB days are an excellent opportunity to speak with MongoDB's core contributors who remain the foremost experts on the database. At MongoSV, we'll be hosting ...Ask the Experts“ sessions to offer you specialized, 15-minute sessions with 10gen's engineers. Sign up is on site and is first come, first serve.
3. Attend Office Hours if you're taking M101 or M102
We’re hosting office hours for students enrolled in 10gen’s online MongoDB classes. M101 instructor Andrew Erlichson and M102 instructor Dwight Merriman will be available to answer your questions about the course and MongoDB in general. Office Hours will be from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.
2. Host a White Board Session at the MongoSV Community Forum
This year, MongoSV will have an afternoon dedicated to open whiteboard sessions in the Community Forum. 10gen co-founders Dwight Merriman and Eliot Horowitz will be hosting whiteboard sessions in the community forum, but there will be a number of other white boards and tables for the community to host their own un-sessions at the conference. Come to MongoSV with some ideas or questions you’d like to discuss with others.
1. Review the agenda and plan your day
With multiple tracks and 40+ sessions, there is a lot to experience at MongoSV. Don't wait until you are sitting in the audience at the keynote to look at the agenda (though we will be offering a snazzy mobile agenda via mongosv2012.busyconf.com.) Plan your day now. Get the most out of the conference sessions and networking opportunities. Most importantly, make sure to leave time for the after-party.
