Great MongoDB News from Down Under
We are pleased to announce a lot of great MongoDB news out of Australia.
10gen opened a Sydney office a few months ago to support MongoDB's rapid global growth. The team moved into their office in September. So far there are only six but there's room to comfortably fit at least twice that number.
With the team in place, we're excited to support the growing community of users through a variety of activities.
- First and foremost, we're organizing two great conferences coming to Australia in the next few weeks: MongoDB Melbourne on 9 November and MongoDB Sydney on 13 November.
- We will also have workshop sessions the day before each conference covering MongoDB schema design and operations. Workshop attendees will get a complimentary ticket to the conference. See MongoDB Sydney Workshops or MongoDB Melbourne Workshops for more info.
- The Sydney MongoDB User Group continues to grow. The next meetup will be Tuesday on the 27th of November.
- 10gen Senior Solutions Architect Asya Kamsky will deliver a keynote at the Open Source Developer’s Conference (OSDC) this December.
Looking forward to seeing you at one of these events! Please comment if you have suggestions or feedback for connecting with the Australia MongoDB community.
