Are you the type of person who is always organizing everyone else -- whether it’s a conference, a meeting, or simply friends going out for dinner? Are you passionate about technology, and love staying up-to-date on the latest developments? Do you love attending Meetups, or participating in online groups, where there’s a great mix of super technical people and those who want to learn more?
If you answered “yes!” to these questions, then this is the job for you. As the MongoDB Community Manager, you will be the organizing brains and the welcoming heart of our global community.
Do you love using MongoDB and letting others know about it? Are you the type of person who naturally gives great technical talks and presentations so that others can learn from your experience? Do you enjoy attending highly-technical meetups and conferences, both to learn the latest and also to hang out and make friends? Are you highly organized and eager to travel extensively?
If you answered “yes!” to these questions, then you are the person we are looking for. As the Developer Advocate for North America, you will be the leading MongoDB ambassador to our communities in the United States and Canada.
Technical Managing Editor
We’re looking for someone with a rare and wonderful combination of great writing ability (with the passion for telling clear and compelling stories), a deep understanding of software development (ideally you can code and even better if you have a CS degree or equivalent), and the ability to easily wrangle a complex process with many participants on a global basis in a collaborative and fun way. You will deploy these skills as the central player in the continuous creation and curation of technical content about MongoDB.
This job is a great fit for a variety of backgrounds. You might be a software developer who doesn’t want to write code any longer, because you really enjoy writing and working in a cross-functional team. You might currently be a product manager or project coordinator. Alternatively, you might come from journalism, with a clear understanding of what a “managing editor” does, and great writing skills; along the way, you’ve also picked up some coding and technical skills, either by reporting in that arena for years or dabbling yourself. Or you might have a completely different background. We’re open minded.
Marketing Communications Coordinator
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator plays an important role in the creation, curation and delivery of MongoDB integrated marketing and communications campaigns. This position is housed within the Corporate Marketing team but is an extension of the larger Marketing Team to ensure content and marketing strategy is aligned to the efforts of the broader organization.
Be part of a nimble, high energy, collaborative events team. In your role you will be a “self-starter”, someone who can manage a project from end to end. You will think of all the “what ifs” and “what coulds”. You love checklists and preparation. Disorganization and flakiness makes you batty.
Initially this role will focus primarily on coordination of User Group Meetings. The department also runs trade shows, partners events, MongoDB Days, special “one off” programs, and MongoDB World. This is a 3-6 month contract position with the opportunity for renewal.
Demand Generation Intern
Do you enjoy promoting cool technical content? Do you want to learn more about demand generation and marketing? Do you love working in a fast-paced environment where you interact constantly with marketing professionals, engineers, and senior executives? Do you want to work for one of the hottest companies in NYC?
MongoDB is looking for a webinar and email marketing intern to join our Demand Gen team for 12 weeks during the fall/winter semester. This position will primarily help with scheduling, planning, promoting and executing webinars; as well as assist with drafting emails and maintaining our marketing calendar. We’re looking for a very detail-oriented and organized person who loves fast-paced work environments.

Celebrating human accomplishment is something you do naturally and you get energy from interacting with others. You understand the connections between an engaged community, demand generation and sales.
