Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the Early Access program?

You are opting into the Early Access program on a feature by feature basis. The program length will be dependent on the feature. If you’d like to continue testing out new features, you’ll have the option to be contacted again in the survey sent at the end of this program.

Why have I been invited to participate?

Based on your experience with MongoDB Atlas in the past, we believe you’ll have valuable feedback to contribute towards shaping MongoDB’s future.

How will I know what the new feature is?

The features you will receive early access to will be detailed in your welcome email and you’ll receive more information upon opting in.

How will I be able to give feedback?

We’ll send you emails throughout the program letting you know where and when you can provide feature feedback. Although you can provide feedback at any time in the dedicated community forum, towards the end of the program you'll be able to schedule a 1:1 feedback session with the Product Managers responsible for the new features.

Can I decide which MongoDB Atlas organizations, projects, and/or clusters will get Early Access?

Depending on the feature, you will have the opportunity to specify which organization, project, and/or cluster you want to have Early Access. If not, you may have access to the feature on all levels, but you can choose to use or enable it at whatever level of specificity you’d like.
