Joel Lord is passionate about the web and technology in general. He likes to learn new things, but most of all, he wants to share his discoveries. He does so by travelling at various conferences all across the globe. He graduated from college in computer programming in the last millennium. Apart from a little break to get his BSc in computational astrophysics, he was always in the industry. In his daily job, Joel is a developer advocate with MongoDB, where he connects with software engineers to help them make the web better by using best practices in web development. During his free time, he can be found stargazing on a campground somewhere or brewing a fresh batch of beer in his garage.
Daniel has been at MongoDB for over nine years. He is currently a Staff Developer Advocate at MongoDB. His principal duties include educating customers on Data Modeling and helping them design data models. Before this position, Daniel worked in the Technical Services, Education, and Data Architecture teams. He contributed to many courses, presentations, and blogs to educate the customers and community. He co-authored the book "MongoDB Data Modeling and Schema Design."
Graeme has over 25 years of experience working with large data systems using both relational and non-relational DBMS technologies in a broad range of industries and technology environments. Graeme joined MongoDB in May 2022 as a developer advocate within the global strategic account team. Prior to joining MongoDB, Graeme was a senior manager leading professional services and implementation teams at SAS Institute Inc, focussed on solutions utilizing a specialized document database optimized for anti-fraud, criminal intelligence, and public safety domains, and has delivered award-winning systems at some of the largest law enforcement agencies in the world.
