When bulk writing, are indexes re-written after each write & if so is there a way to reduce this to once per bulk write?

Hi. I am bulk writing 10k updates to the same collection at a time and it’s quite a slow process because this particular collection has a lot of indexes. I’m guessing because of all the updates to the indexes. If they are being re-written after each write can this be reduced to once per bulk write in any way?
Thanks,
Matt

i guess that’s true. indexes are being updated one by one.

from my understanding bulk update is no big different from single update except that it saves you some round trip time. you can try running the 10k batch in a non-peak time.

i guess no, at least the doc doesn’t mention it.

OK, thanks for your time
