Update to End-of-Life and Deprecation notice

Hi @Borbala_Eke,

Unfortunately, the answer to all three questions is the same: Device Sync as a service will be switched off after September 30th. Realm SDKs as a local database will still be available as open source, but versions 20.x and later won’t be supporting a synchronisation in the cloud.

If you’ve a plan to migrate that you can share with us, and need some more time, you can open a Support case, and ask for an extension: 3 or 6 months are typical.

Hi Could you point me to the right place to open a Support case for an extension?

Hi @Siwei_Kang,

From your Project page on Atlas, there’s a Support tab, where you can open a case (if you’ve a Support contract), or a chat (US working hours only).

Hi, @Paolo_Manna

I would like to apply for an extension.

So I have a question:

  1. Am I correct in understanding that if I extend for 3 months, the Device Sync process will continue through December 31?
  2. Do I need to subscribe to a support plan in order to apply for an extension?
  3. If so, is Developer the correct support plan?

Hi @Shunsuke_Endo,

Yes, that’s correct.

It should be also sufficient to ask for it through the Chat Support, that’s available in US working hours, and is included in every Atlas account. If that doesn’t suit, then any Support Contract would do (although response times may change, of course).

Hope it helps!
