Your mongo command failed as mongod is not up and running on port 27017
You tried to start mongod but it failed with read only permissions, aborting fassert() message

May be file permission issues or mongod not able to write to /tmp
As which user you are trying to start mongod?

Thanks for your reply. runc usually runs as root. I actually used a mongo docker image to create the container.
