I made sure that all the login information was correct in Compass, but I still get an “authentication failed” error. Help?
what are you putting in for the login?
did you put the following:
Hostname: cluster0-shard-00-00-jxeqq.mongodb.net
Username: m001-student
Password: m001-mongodb-basics
Replica Set Name: Cluster0-shard-0
Read Preference: Primary Preferred
also did you make sure to select primary preferred?
