Hello MongoDB Community,
I’m unable to connect to my MongoDB Atlas cluster learnvibe because both the SRV record _mongodb._tcp.learnvibe.mongodb.net and the A records for the shards (e.g., learnvibe-shard-00-00.qywta.mongodb.net) aren’t resolving. I’ve tried Google DNS (8.8.8.8) and Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1), and used dnschecker.org, but I get a “Non-existent domain” error across all servers. My IP address (194.230.211.65) is whitelisted, my username (cdadmin) and password are correct, and the cluster is active.
I’ve tried both the SRV connection string:
text
Kopieren
mongodb+srv://cdadmin:<password>@learnvibe.mongodb.net/learnvibe?retryWrites=true&w=majority
and the standard connection string:
text
Kopieren
mongodb://cdadmin:<password>@learnvibe-shard-00-00.qywta.mongodb.net:27017,learnvibe-shard-00-01.qywta.mongodb.net:27017,learnvibe-shard-00-02.qywta.mongodb.net:27017/learnvibe?ssl=true&replicaSet=atlas-144uvo-shard-0&authSource=admin&retryWrites=true&w=majority
However, I get the error MongoServerSelectionError: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND learnvibe-shard-00-00.qywta.mongodb.net. I’m also unable to open a support ticket due to a sync latency issue with my Atlas Org, which MongoDB support is currently resolving.
Has anyone encountered a similar DNS issue with MongoDB Atlas? Any suggestions for resolving this or connecting to the cluster?
Thank you,
Chris (LearnVibe.net)
