Please fix your Windows installer

This might be a minor issue, but I’m taking my first steps with MongoDB and I’m already annoyed.
I’m just installing the Community Edition and I get this:

Being a total newbie, I don’t know what Compass is… no problem, you’re providing a link. :stuck_out_tongue:
Too bad I can’t click it, I can’t even mark and copy it, and even if I could it wouldn’t help me because it’s cut off despite there’s tons of empty space in that dialog.
This is just ridiculous.

Why are you installing Compass if you do not know what it is?

And to learn what is Compass (or anything else for that matter) you may always google:
https://www.google.com/search?q=mongodb+compass

Sometimes, Windows is in the way. Hopefully, they will fix this dialog.

The MongoDB installer (mongodb-windows-x86_64-7.0.3-signed.msi) brings up that dialog after installing the core features. Which is good IMO, that’s not the point.

And to learn what is Compass (or anything else for that matter) you may always google:
mongodb compass - Google Search

Still not the point.

There we go.
