As the test cases are failing, it means there is some error in your function implementation. I would suggest you read the lab instructions as well as the commented-out portion in the function once again to ascertain the task.
It’s also been a while since you posted and so, if the issue has already been resolved, feel free to let us know what worked for you so as to help future learners who might get the same issue as you.
