Mongod issues on startuo

Hi All, Hope you are doing good!. I am trying run mongod and it just stuck at below:

2019-01-25T12:01:44.456+0000 I COMMAND [LogicalSessionCacheRefresh] command config.$cmd command: createIndexes { createIndexes: “system.sessions”, indexes: [ { key: { lastUse: 1 }, name: “lsidTTLIndex”, expireAfterSeconds: 1800 } ], $db: “config” } numYields:0 reslen:98 locks:{ Global: { acquireCount: { r: 2, w: 2 } }, Database: { acquireCount: { w: 2, W: 1 } }, Collection: { acquireCount: { w: 2 } } } protocol:op_msg 114ms

does anyone know what could be the issue.

Thanks and Regards,

Please share the command you are using.

Also check in mongodb logs to get detailed error information.

This is the expected behaviour. When you run mongod, it is a mongo daemon process and it prints server log messages on the terminal unless there is logfile specified.
You can either start mongo in the new terminal or use --fork option with logFile while running mongod to keep using the same tab.
I would highly recommend that one should take M001 before starting M103. M001 is the basics course which will introduce all the necessary information related to Mongo.
