Hi - I have a client requirement that the database be hosted locally for data sovereignty reason but I also want to benefit from the capabilities of Realm, is there a way to connect Realm to a local instance of MongoDB?

MongoDB Realm and Realm Sync are currently only available as a cloud hosted solution with storage backed by MongoDB Atlas.
If you have questions about data sovereignty and compliance requirements I would encourage you to review the information in the Atlas Trust Center and contact the MongoDB Sales team to discuss whether your client requirements can be addressed.
