Introducing Your New MongoDB User Group (MUG) Leader for Silicon Valley!

Hello, MongoDB community!

I’m Nikhil Dupally, and I’m thrilled to step into the role of MongoDB User Group (MUG) Leader for Silicon Valley ! :tada:

A Little About Me

I’m a seasoned backend engineer with 4 years of experience designing and optimizing scalable, high-performance applications. My journey has taken me through building robust systems at PhonePe, where I played a key role in designing large-scale, distributed architectures handling 100,000+ transactions daily. I’m proficient in databases, caching strategies, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native development—all of which fuel my passion for efficient and scalable data solutions.

Beyond my work, community building has always been close to my heart. I’ve been actively organizing and leading tech meetups, hackathons, and knowledge-sharing sessions back in India, bringing developers together to learn, network, and grow. Now, I’m excited to bring that same energy and enthusiasm to the MongoDB community in Silicon Valley!

What’s Next?

As your MUG leader, my vision is to create a thriving, collaborative, and hands-on learning space where developers, database enthusiasts, and industry professionals can explore MongoDB’s full potential. Expect interactive workshops, expert-led discussions, real-world case studies, hackathons, and networking opportunities to help you level up your MongoDB expertise.

Let’s Build Together!

Whether you’re a MongoDB pro, a curious learner, or someone looking to dive deeper into NoSQL databases, I invite you to be part of this journey. Join us, contribute your ideas, and help shape an inclusive, knowledge-driven MongoDB community in Silicon Valley!
