I had installed MongoDB Compass Enterprise version. It did not display schema option when I clicked on the collection “movies”, so uninstalled MongoDB Compass by using Windows Add/Remove programs. Then tried to install MongoDB Stable version 1.16 from the Mongodb site but installation stopped after few seconds. Error indicated something not in AppData.
I would suggest that you post the whole message, either as text or as screenshot.
