Debian 12: The repository does not have a Release file

Hi, I follow the setup procedure as usual, for install MongoDB 7.0 on Debian 12. When I do apt update, apt say The repository “MongoDB Repositories bookworm/mongodb-org/7.0 Release” does not have a Release file. so I’m unable to install !!

some forum say to use Ubuntu setup. I can than install everything except mongodb-org-tools ! so crazy !

I’ve been using mongodb for years, I installed version 4.4, version 6… but this version can’t be installed.

If the releases file for bookworm is not there then head over to jira.mongodb.com and log a bug.

The docs are released for 7.0 and say it is supported.

The tools issue should now be resolved as there was a post for a new release of tools.
