  • Experience with at least one programming language (Go, Python, Ruby, Perl, Javascript, etc.)
  • Experience or desire to use cloud vendors (AWS, Azure, Google Compute, Packet.net)

  • Familiarity with infrastructure metrics and monitoring

 Position Expectations

  • Work with colleagues to manage and scale thousands of servers running automated build, test and release jobs across all supported MongoDB platforms including Red Hat, SUSE, Debian, Ubuntu, Windows, IBM (zSeries and Power) and macOS
  • Propose and test new system scaling hypotheses to squeeze hundreds of hours of compilation and testing for a single build into seconds
  • Contribute to building and maintaining core platform-as-a-service technologies for the purposes of developer productivity tools
  • Provide support for our newest platforms by developing stable machine and toolchain images
  • Support and maintain MongoDB release packaging (RPM’s, DEB’s, MSI’s, homebrew)
