Cigna High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP)
This plan has $0 paycheck deductions for Employee Only coverage and MongoDB automatically contributes money towards your Health Savings Account. For Employee Only coverage, the deductible is only $1,500 and once the deductible is met, Cigna will begin paying 90% towards in-network medical services. The HDHP also gives you coverage for both in and out of network doctors and you can self-refer to specialists. You are 100% covered for preventative services so you won’t have to pay towards the deductible for those visits.
Kaiser HMO (CA Employees Only)
Kaiser is an HMO plan offered to California employees. This plan provides in-network coverage only. There are no paycheck deductions for Employee Only coverage. Copays are only $20 for Office Visits and Urgent Care and you have the convenience of having your Primary Care Doctor coordinating all your care. You can also enjoy having no deductible to meet with this plan. Kaiser members also have access to free virtual visits, where healthcare professionals diagnose and treat patients using telecommunication technology.
Cigna Network Only (EPO) Plan
With the deductible being only $250, this is a low deductible plan. You have access to any doctor in Cigna’s wide, national network. There is no coverage for care received outside of the network. You have predictable fixed $20 copays and can self-refer to specialists. You are 100% covered for preventative services with no co-payment due.
Cigna Network Only (PPO) Plan
The Cigna High Plan gives you access to doctors both in and out of network. There is no deductible for in network care. Employees have a lower out of pocket cost, and a higher payroll deduction. You have predictable fixed $20 copays and can self-refer to specialists. You are 100% covered for preventative services with no co-payment due.
Dental coverage is provided through Cigna. You are eligible to see dentists both in and out of network and preventative care is always 100% covered. All Cigna Dental members can increase their dental maximum each year by getting a dental cleaning each year.
Our vision coverage is through EyeMed Vision. Employees have separate allowances for contacts and frames, which provides up to a $150 savings per year. You are eligible to see providers both in and out of network but can receive the greatest savings by seeking services from EyeMed’s Plus providers, who are providers in the EyeMed network who provide enhanced savings.
