Please join us for a live, online conference dedicated to MongoDB version 2.2. We'll be introducing the latest features in this release via video stream from 1pm-3pm ET on Thursday, September 20.
MongoDB Version 2.2 includes a wide array of feature enhancements and performance improvements. This includes major improvements to concurrency as well as several new features such as the aggregation framework, TTL collections, and tag aware sharding. In this free, online conference, we will introduce many of the key updates to the core server and talk about updating your deployment.

Edouard Servan-Schreiber: About the speaker
Dr. Edouard Servan-Schreiber is Director for Solution Architecture at MongoDB, advising customers on how to make MongoDB make their business simpler, faster, and better. Previously, Edouard was director for cross-channel analytics at Teradata, leading projects in advanced analytics and predictive modeling with customers in all heavily data-driven industries such as telco, retail, finance, high tech manufacturing. Edouard's specialty is to help customers extract business value from their data through the wise use of technology. Edouard began practicing artificial intelligence and statistical learning models at Carnegie Mellon University for his bachelor's degree, before going to UC Berkeley for his PhD in Computer Science.
Andrew Erlichson: About the speaker
Andrew is VP of Education and Cloud Services at MongoDB. Prior to MongoDB, Andrew was CEO and Founder of Phanfare (acquired by Carbonite), an online photo hosting company. Earlier, he was Founder and CEO of Flashbase (acquired by DoubleClick), a web service that offered self-service online database forms and analysis tools. At DoubleClick (acquired by Google), Andrew was Vice President of Technology in the Research and Development group. He has worked at MIPS Computer Systems, Silicon Graphics and BlackRock. Andrew has an A.B. from Dartmouth College and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
