Sales Compensation Manager

Palo Alto, CA

MongoDB is looking for an experienced sales compensation manager to own the company’s worldwide sales compensation process. The job requires a passion for process, systems, analytics, effective communication, business partnering, and execution in a highly dynamic hyper-growth environment.
 
Responsibilities 

  • Partner with Sales, Finance and HR in the annual comp plan design, modeling and quota setting process
  • Once comp plans are approved, assure proper set-up in Xactly system and produce and distribute plans to salesforce
  • Lead team in monthly calculation of attainment and earned commissions for all sales comp plans
  • Assure adherence to SLAs with sales organization
  • Assist FP&A and CFO team with commissions forecasting
  • Distribute monthly/quarterly executive reports on quota attainment, earnings, and commission expense trends for sales organization
  • Work closely with Systems team to continually automate/streamline commissions systems and process

Requirements

  • Must have 3-5 years experience at a management or senior administrative level designing and administering successful sales compensation plans for large, complex sales organizations
  • Must have experience in Sales Operations and/or Finance organizations
  • Experience with both national and global sales teams
  • Must be process-oriented with strong project management, problem solving, and analytical skills
