Online Education, Summer Software Engineering Intern
New York, NY
You will work with engineers on the education team to build an interactive lesson track that teaches students how to use MongoDB using the technology framework at codecademy.com. Today, codecademy has no direct support for MongoDB lessons, although they use MongoDB to deploy their platform. Your first task will be to build the software that allows online assessment of MongoDB skills in the browser, possibly leveraging the existing MongoDB-in-a-browser work. You will build an extension to codecademy that will allow anyone to create interactive MongoDB lesson tracks, and then you will implement the first track so that the millions of users of codecademy can learn about MongoDB. This will be a 10 week internship with the possibility of an extension.
